Bearsfoot is an herb which is a perennial herb with enormous, three-lobed leaves that resemble the footprint of a bear and yellow flowers that can reach a height of 2 meters (6 1/2 feet).

Native Americans utilized bearsfoot root as a stimulant and laxative treatment. It became a popular therapeutic herb in North America in the 19th century and was specifically used to cure mastitis. ( inflammation of the breast tissue).

The eastern United States is home to bearsfoot. It spreads southward from New York, favoring fertile soil. Autumn is when the root is discovered.

Uses

Hair Tonic stimulates the growth of the hair

Mastitis may be used to treat swollen glands due to breast inflammation.

Stomach May provide comfort from indigestion

Liver Malflunction May have beneficial effects on liver function.
